Founded in 2019, Boipatong Football Club (BFC) is a community-focused South African team. The club is currently playing in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League Stream A in the 2026/2027 season and competing for promotion to the Motsepe Foundation League.
The club plays home games at Boipatong Stadium and is dedicated to elevating the sport in Sedibeng, with a dual focus on competitive success and community engagement, BFC seeks to inspire young athletes and enthusiasts alike. The club slogan is affectionately known as "Mayinethe" - let it rain.
BFC features one squad competing in the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League. Boipatong has a proud history as a community that has overcome hardship and built resilience across generations. Football in Boipatong is not just entertainment, it is aspiration, community pride, and opportunity.
Having enjoyed success in the 2025/2026 season, Mayinethe are a club with a growing history. Boipating FC won the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywoodbets Regional Group 1A and Runners-up in the SAFA Hollywoodbets Inter-Regional Playoffs Final 2025/2026 season for the first time, and gained promotion to the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League.
